The New Jersey Firemen’s Home – established in 1898 – is the ONLY licensed health care facility in the State of New Jersey whose primary mission is dedicated to the men and women of the New Jersey Fire Service. Located on the historic Lathrop Estates in Boonton, NJ – the Firemen’s Home provides both long term care and residential health care services. Providing outstanding service – delivered by a loyal and caring staff - has made the Firemen’s Home a TRUSTED and RESPECTED choice for many of New Jersey’s Bravest.

Please include the names and contact information of any individuals you would like NJFH to acknowledge for the memorial donation and we will be happy to process your request. Additionally, you may elect to designate your Memorialized Donation to a specific department or cause (i.e. Activities, furniture, etc.).

THE NJFH MUSEUM

The Firemen's Home is also home to our 8,000 sq. ft., two-story museum, which opened in May 1985.

Steamers, ornate hose carts, and fire trucks are among the many items on display for all to see.

The New Jersey Firemen's Home Museum is opened daily 8AM to 4PM and admission is free!
