Located on the historic Lathrop Estates in Boonton, NJ, the Firemen's Home provides both long term care and residential health care services. Established by an act of the New Jersey Legislature and purchased from the Lathrop family, the New Jersey Firemen's Home is a RELIABLE life care choice for those who have faithfully served the residents of our State. Licensed and Inspected by the New Jersey Department of Health - the Firemen's Home provides a fully certified Nursing Staff, a Recreation Director who is a certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, a fully certified Dietary Manager and a fully licensed Dietician.
Governed by a twenty-one member Board of Managers - the Firemen's Home is supervised by a full time Administrator. Our Nursing Staff provides continuous 24 hour care 7 days a week. In addition - our facility provides a fully licensed Health Care physician 5 days a week to ensure the best care possible for our guests and their families.
